Sunsets back in Penarth after Australian tour success!

PENARTH based rock‘n’rollers The Sunsets are enjoying a successful tour of Western Australia, with gigs in Perth, Albany and Freemantle – including an Australia Day event featuring an Aboriginal band.

They have given radio interviews and made guest appearances on Albany 100.9FM and Curtin 100.1FM Perth, where they were reunited with Trevor Lee Hawkins, the original pianist who featured on the Legend LP.

On their return to Penarth, they will be gearing up to play the first of their regular dance nights of 2012 at Penarth Conservative Club on Saturday, February 25.

Come and enjoy great live 50s and early 60s music from The Sunsets plus a selection of Lindy Hop, Jive and Le Rock tracks played by DJ Dipsy Doodle.

Doors will be open from 7.30pm and admission is £5.

The band is looking forward to seeing all their regulars, together with some new faces!
